DNPI and GIZ published a report on Low-Carbon Technology Transfer in Indonesia Featured

The report's full title is "Low-Carbon Technology Transfer in Indonesia - An exploration into actors, questions and potential requests to the Climate Technology Centre and Network". The Indonesian Council on Climate Change (DNPI) acts as national designated unit (National Designated Entity - NDE) to the UNFCCC Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN).   The study shall serve as a basis for the selection and in-depth assessment of low-carbon technology fields in need for further capacity development through the CTCN. The assessment is part of the project which is financed by the Study Expert Fund provided by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and which aims to develop technology-specific strategies to support a climate-friendly technology transfer in Indonesia. Based on a detailed analysis of actors, as well as on existing experience of GIZ in related projects in the areas of climate policy, energy efficiency, renewable energy and technology facilitation, the current state of development and level of diffusion of selected climate protection technologies is examined.   This report is now available for download at this PAKLIM website http://paklim.org/index.php/publication/studies-and-reports/itemlist/category/34-climate-mitigation-policy-advice.html
